Happy October!!

So I ran out of picture space on the old Blog- and haven't been able to figure out how to do it again!  But don't worry- I just signed in as Cole and now I can do it!  SOOOOO- back to it!

We have been SOOO busy the past couple of months.  Cole is SO busy with church/work/everything else.  So we like to see him when we can.  Work is going well for him.  He is ramping up his consulting business doing anything and everything that he can to get his foot in the door places, and is doing a great job at it!  He is the BEST and I am so grateful to have him in my life.  I love that guy.  The kids are growing SOOO fast!  I can't believe how quickly things change around here.  It makes me sick for heavens sake!

We have been doing alot to keep ourselves busy, so without further ado- here is a photo essay of the month of October!
The kids have been playing a LOT of dress ups lately, and they made a SWEET fort (something they also have been doing a lot of!) downstairs and all dressed up like pirates.  That's a pretty cute pirate!

Notice paytons scary pirate face!  haha!

This little buddy learned to sit up!  YAHOO!  Best stage ever!

His sibs think it's pretty cool that he can do that as well!

This is one drooly, sweet, angelic, quiet, happy, snotty little baby boy!  LOVE HIM!

Again with this face!!!

These two really are great buddies now that they play with each other each afternoon while Lincoln is still at school!  It's fun to see them actually interacting!  They play different stuff than Payton and Lincoln do.  It's fun to see the difference!

I became an Usborne Books consultant, and the kids are REALLY loving all of the new books that they have gotten lately!

We are silly.

Payton finished up his soccer, and here we are watching his last game! It was FREEZING COLD!  But we had a great time watching him.  I can't remember who was sick for this game, but someone threw up on me right after this picture was taken. Like- REAL throw up.  Not just spit up.  It was awesome.  This started the month long flu-fest at our house.  Ah nuts.

Payton was pretty pumped about his ribbon- and became quite the great little soccer player!  He's a go-getter.  That's for sure.  His coaches don't quite know what to do with all that energy!  But he also takes LOTS of water breaks.  Gotta ramp up the energy right?!

Cole's WONDERFUL sister Erica came for a work thing and was here for a few days, so we got to hang out with her some, and it was SOOO much fun!  The kids were in HEAVEN Having someone else to play with that's an adult and will actually play with them (note- I try to play with them as much as I can, but I can only play ninjas for so long!)  Thanks for coming out Erica!  We had SO much fun!  We went to the spaghetti factory, and the kids got some amazing balloon animals made for them from the lady that is always walking around.  What a great idea!

We also went bowling, and the kids had SO much fun ! I love bowling!

Morgs thought it was "weowee loud!" :)

Silly Halloween props!

Stay tuned!  More to come!!!

September Goodies

Since I got my new phone, and actually started up on Instagram, there has been a LOT of random picture taking!  So here's some goodies both from my phone, and also the good camera to help get you through.

I started selling Usborne Books (yahoo!) and I had my first start up party one night.  So Cole brought the kids outside and they were able to watch a movie on the tramp!  DREAMY!!!!!!

Not to worry that Stockton and Morgan almost have the same size of head!  So cute.

Stockton is NOT loving baby food!  He won't eat anything but mama's milk!  Soooo, we are slowly working on getting him to like things. It's not very often that he eats it- but when we can get him to take a few bites, it's good for us.  He just seems quite content with just milk. :)

This is usually what happens.  STRAIGHT out of the mouth, on to the chinny chin chin.

Morgan likes to get in on the action.

This kid could live on the tramp! He's so cute.

No one can make cute Stockton laugh quite as fast as Payton can!  He loves to play peek-a-boo with his feet.  Notice Morgan in the background doing the same thing with her baby!  So cute.

One Sunday after church, everyone fell asleep so Lincoln and I played games for like 2 hours!  It was a blast.  He chose trouble, and he whooped me!  It's weird with him getting older and actually having to try at games and nintendo, and things like that. It's not going to be long before he's beating me at everything!  Sheesh!

Hello Kitty!

My Bald little Aggie

Brothers

Payton is in his gymnastics class, and Morgan can not WAIT until she gets to go!  Her face is plastered to the window watching very intently every week.  Soon baby girl...soon!

Mom- I REALLY want some fruit snacks and to watch a show...NOW!  PLEASE!  (Hey, at least there was a please in there!)

Classic Bathtub shot

Could you not just EAT this baby?!  LOVE HIM!

Time Out for Women

I had the opportunity to go to Time Out for Women with a few of my friends, and it was lovely!  It was SUCH a nice break away from life and the world.  It was a great time to recharge my batteries and get some great words of advice from alot of wonderful speakers.  I have been having a really hard time lately being happy and upbeat and alright with my life. Don't get me wrong- I have a great life!  But it is SO busy!  Cole is really busy with work, and church and the kids are busy with school, sports and everything else- and it seems (I know every mother feels this way!) that I am letting myself slip a little bit- and that I don't get to do many of the things that I would like to.  So it was SO nice to get a way even if just for a few hours to recharge my batteries a bit.  I'm so grateful to Cole for watching the kids on Friday night!  We had our schedules a bit mixed up, and Cole had forgotten the time of his training with Elder Bednar on Saturday, so we got a babysitter for Saturday!  I took Stockton with me, which was just fine- because he is an angel baby!  He really was so great!  What a great baby.  Love that kid!
anyway....the speakers were all FABULOUS!  Friday night was great.  We had the opportunity to hear Sheri Dew speak and she is ALWAYS wonderful.  So inspiring and wonderful.  Jennie Oaks Baker also was the performer and she was PHENOMENAL!  I have never really listened to her music that much, but I thought that it was so beautiful. It was neat to hear and see her kind of double personality!  She was HILARIOUS when she was talking, but then switched into this professional maniac on the violin when she would perform.  It was so great.  Julie deAzavedo Hanks also talked, and it was so wonderful as well.  All of the performers/speakers were so great- both days!  On Saturday, we listened to- Oh, now I can't remember his name!- Brian something I think.  He's the man whose family (4 of them) were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver and forgave this young man, and how he has moved on with his life.  It was so awesome.  There were also a few others that spoke that I-regrettably- can't remember their names.  I do remember that the Our Best Bites girls spoke- and they were so hilarious and witty.  Also, Mercy River were the performers.  I have to admit, I don't love Mercy River usually, but they were so great at the conference.  It is always fun to hear peoples personal stories as they perform and things.  It was wonderful.  I am SOOOOO glad that I was able to go!  I was rejuvenated, and happy, and excited to get back to life, and my kids, and all my other responsibilities.  Yeah for Time Outs!

Crazy Stephie Dix

Steph Wessler, Katie (can't remember her last name! So bad! But I DID just meet her that day) Steph Dix, Me and Anna Rogers   Great group of ladies

It was fun- the conference was at the Convention Center- so we had to take the pic of the big blue bear!  Until Next Year Time Out!  Yahoo!

Green Eggs and Waffles?

Cole has been gone ALOT lately with both work and with church stuff.  He has been traveling a bit with some work and we miss him terribly when he is gone.  So, one night, the kids and I decided that instead of fixing dinner, we would have Green Eggs and Waffles while we watched Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham!  The kids thought it was the BOMB.COM and we had a great time!  It was super cold that day too, so we had hot chocolate and the kids were in heaven!  Its really hard sometimes to be with the children all by myself.  I know that everyone as to do it sometimes-I really do- but it is still hard!  It's hard not to be able to have someone to tag-team with so that I can have a break!  Thankfully, this was a WONDERFUL night with the kids, and we had a great time.  They even got along with each other all night too!  Such a plus.  I love my babies!

We even got to eat in front of the T.V!  SCORE!

Sure doesn't look that appetizing does it?  Well- trust me, it was!

Sibling love

The whole gang!

I was trying to get them to all look at the t.v.  Fat chance of that!

Random Picture extravaganza!

We did LOTS and lots of fun things at the end of July and August, and there are just too many different things for just one post!  So- here is a hodgepodge of everything that we did!  Enjoy...it's a LONG one!

Happy to be in the stroller on a hot day at the zoo!

Stockton can sit in the Bumbo now!  Yahoo!  He and Link were watchin a little show. :)

Oh!  Could you just not SQUEEZE that face!  Yowsas!

Deer in the headlights?  Usually!. :)

His head is PERFECTLY round. :)

We took the training wheels off of Paytons bike, and he's getting it- a little bit. :)
Neither Cole or I are very patient when it comes to teaching how to ride a two-wheeler.  We're working on it. :)
Starting to get the hang of it...

This one though, is a BIKIN MACHINE!  he loves it!

We went to Monkey Business with some of our favorite friends- the Haynes!

Cute Callie is having her first baby girl here in just a few short months!  YEAH for baby girls ! We are so excited for her. Isn't this just the best self portrait ever?!  Hey, my camera is heavy!

We've played lots of games!  Lincoln was playing another game, and Morgan got out Pretty Pretty Princess.  Link was looking out the corner of his eye- pretending he didn't want to play.  By the time we went around the group for one turn, he was in on the game claiming he needed to teach us all how to play.  Hey- real men play Pretty Pretty Princesses with their sister/moms!

And here's the winner-winner-chicken-dinner!

All 4 of my extremely handsome boys!  Wow- do they all look alike or what?!

Catchin some z's wherever we can!  Hey, when ya gotta nap, ya gotta nap!  Its especially fun in your little brothers toys!

Cole was gone hiking some crazy thing with the scouts one saturday, so we hit up McDonalds and had a picnic at the park!

They really are happy meals!

We do a lot of snugglin at our house.

Payton has been acting up a little bit lately- he's 4!- and so we spend a whole day together for just some Mommy/Payton time.  We spent the morning at the allergist (poor little rashy boy!) and to eat, he chose DerWeinerschnitzel!  What 4 year old chooses that.  He wanted a hot dog, but when we got there, their special was a shrimp plate, and this dude LOVES shrimp!  So, he chose the shrimp meal.  It came out with like 12 shrimp and a huge mound of fries, and he ate all of them!  Crazy kook.

After the Weinerschnitzel, we went to Target so that he could pick out a toy to buy with his money that he's saved up!  He was OVER THE MOON about the toys that he picked out!  All in all- the mommy/payton date was a hit and a success!  He can't wait to do it again and get another toy. :)

Buddies!  Twins!

Payton found my phone camera, and figured out that you can turn the camera around!  He was laughing SO hard!  There are about 50 pictures on my phone exactly like this.

And Morgs needed in on the action!

We have a chin-up bar in our house, and I'd say that Payton spends about 75% of his day hanging from the bar!  He is such a monkey!  He climbs EVERYTHING!  EVERYWHERE!

Decided very enthusiastically that we LOVE the swing!  He full on giggles the whole time he is in one!  So cute.

Yes, he is always smiling. Unless Payton is up in his grill...he doesn't love that.

We took a sunday field trip to the temple- it is SO gorgeous there right now with all of the end of summer flowers!

This was where Morgan chose to pose for Cole. :)
We took one last trip to the Museum of Nature and Science before school started.  WE LOVE THIS PLACE!  We actually go a whole lot- and the kids never get tired of it!  I love it too.  Here is the space place- my own little Moon Rock.

Payton was especially excited about the Space Suit.

Proof that we were there too!  Cole even was able to meet us for lunch!  SO LUCKY and fun!

They built the arch and Lincoln was so excited about it.  He's quite the builder!

We even got to do a science experiment together!  The lady cringed when she saw us coming, but we did it anyways, and had a fun time!  The kids didn't really understand- Link did, so we will have to take him back there when we can really focus with just him.  He's growing up so fast!  They all are!
We checked out a movie from the library- Peep and the Big Wide World (one of the kids favorites!) and they froze some water and played with it outside on a hot day, so the kids wanted to do the same thing!  We went a step further and made some colored, and put some toys in others.  They thought it was so fun- for about 10 minutes.  Luckily it didn't take too long for the ice to melt so that they could reclaim their toys!

Our dear friend Debbie took us to the beach one day too!  We got caught in a major wind storm!  But after a little while, it calmed down and we were able to take some fun rides on her jet ski.  The kids love the jet ski!

Stockton didn't really dig the beach. Sorry buddy!

Ahhh! That's better!  A nice warm tubbers!
We rearranged all of the toys upstairs, and disassembled a shelf.  The boys put it back together in a box, and Payton thought it only appropriate to jump in the box!  I had a few people suggest I put a lock on it. Hehehehe. :)

We also took one last trip to the zoo!  Dad was even able to come with us this time!  We love the new Toyota Elephant Passage with all the new stuff to play on.  Here's the boys being Gibbons.  They love to hang!

And Morgan loves to throw stuff on herself.
We had a fantastic summer!  It was a long one, but we did lots of fun stuff, and are glad to be back in school now.  Hooray!
