March Goodies....

March was another great month!  It was a REALLY snowy one though!  Man!  For it supposing to be spring, it snowed a TON!  For sure more than all of the winter months!  It was alright though- we had a great time.  Lots was done!  Here is a random picture journaling!
We had our traditional "Green Eggs and Pancakes" breakfast for St. Patricks Day!  The kids think this is about the best thing in the land!  I'd have to agree with them!
Stockton loved it too- not even KNOWING he was a big one year old!

Cole read Green Eggs and Ham- Nice bed head dear!

Twins!!!
They love eachchother...most of the time.
Sunday afternoon iPad time!
And Sunday afternoon Nap time!  teehee...

One day I was inside cleaning the dishes and looked out the window to see Cole pushing the trampoline towards the house.  Then I looked out and he was carrying the ladder towards the side of the house!  I ran outside to see what they were doing and Cole decided that the kids needed to jump off of the ROOF onto the tramp!  What the...what?!

Morgan was just fine to view from the side!

They thought it was pretty sweet that they were allowed to do this- we made it perfectly clear they were ONLY to do this when we were present!

Cheese!

Sweet karate chop!

Goofy Goo's

The Double Jump

We had Logan Wessler over for the day one day, and Morgan and Logan had a BLAST dressing up!  They are such great buddies!

We spend lots of time making forts because of the snow outside.

On an exceptionally great weather day, we headed to the zoo and had a lovely time!  That's why I love the weather here in Denver!  It can snow on Monday, but then by Thursday or Friday it has all melted and we are at the zoo or the park!

He's got that crazy look in his eyes!

haha!  Had to document this...this is where Gus parks himself whenever Stockton gets into his high chair to eat.  Gus knows there will inevitably be stuff hurled over the side- he usually has quite the feast!

My three little angry birds!

We did some swim lessons in March- indoors of course at the Wash Park Rec center.  The kids LOVED it, and Morgan had her first lesson!  Yeah for swim lessons!!!

Kai Gowensmith spent quite a bit of time here- and we all enjoy having snacks on the tramp!  Who doesn't, really!?!

After a particularly big snow storm, Payton wanted to go and play outside.  He insisted on wearing his ski helmet!  Safety first, I guess!

Lincoln is SEVEN!!?!?!??!!!

Lincoln turned SEVEN years old when we were in Utah for Cole's Uncle Wayne's Funeral.  I could not love this little boy more!  Well, I guess not so little anymore!  He is such a pleasant, loving, kind, helpful wonderful boy.  He is getting to be quite the proficient reader, and will bury his nose in a book- just like his mother!  He does NOT- however- love math, and quite despises having to do his math each night!  Right now, he'd like to be a scientist when he grows up- and will be quite the scientist!  He is so cute.  He is a very loyal friend, and does not like when conflict occurs.  He's very sensitive, and extremely intense in his life.  He finds something he likes and learns everything there is to know about it!  His best friend at the moment is Hayden Habitz.  They are thick as thieves- those two!
Lincoln is REALLY into the Ocean and under the sea EVERYTHING, so for his seventh birthday, we decided to head to the Museum of Nature and Science and see the 3D movie- Under the Sea- and it was SO much fun!  It was super easy too!  I put together some fun buckets for favors, and we went to the movie, had pizza and ice cream there at the museum, opened presents and the kids headed home!  It was great fun, and even better because I didn't have to clean anything up!  BOOYEAH!  Anyways...it was a great time.  We sure do love Lincoln and are SO glad that he is a part of our wonderful family!  Happy Birthday Lincoln!  Only one more year until you are EIGHT!
The Crazy Group having some pizza!  Cutest kids.

The other side of the table

This is when everyone was singing happy birthday to Lincoln- he was pretending to be shy, but he loved every second of it!

Million Dollar Smile- Seriously!

I. Love. This.  Baby.

My little princess that can certainly hold her own with all those boys!

Getting ready for the movie!  Bottom: Liam Wolff, Hayden Habitz, Lincoln, Kai Gowensmith  Back: Payton, Oliver Swatts, Henry Nelson.  Not in the picture is Carson Cronin

Morgs actually did pretty good keeping her glasses on!  They are not very much fun to wear, and she did a great job!

Great little buddies Hayden and Kai!

Carson and Henry

Oliver and Payton! :)

Liam and Hayden

Lincoln had so much fun, and the next day he was so great about writing thank you notes to all of his friends!  He even addressed all the envelopes, put the stamps on and put them in the mail!  I love that he is getting so great at writing!  And his spelling is awesome too!

February Random

Here I am, SUPER behind again on the old blog!  It's getting hard to do- what with all of the other things that there are to keep me updated with everyone else!  What is that all about?!  Lately, I have felt it more important to look at others blogs/facebooks/pinterest/instagram etc. that I have started to neglect my own families history!  Stop it Mindy- Stop it!  I know not many people read blogs much anymore, but it is so fun to be able to look back at my families comings and goings that I just need to bite the bullet and get 'er done- so to speak!  :)  So- without further adieu, here is February in a glance!  I will try and do it through pictures again, because I can't really remember what went on until I have a chance to look back at the pictures and see what really went on!  Because, truly- a picture is worth a thousand words, and as many memories for sure!  Enjoy!

Would you just LOOK at this angel face!  I gave him some pots and pans to play with, and he was having a BLAST banging them together!

Morgan wanted to join in on the action, and she loved it!  Looks like she had some evidence of a little bit of chocolate on her cute little lips. :)  Who doesn't love chocolate!?
Morgan FINALLY finished with her potty training!  what a big girl!  This little back pack with princess shoes, a wand, and a tiara is what she chose at the store to work for when she finally finished with the potty training.  But the thing that finally did the trick was her sticker chart!  Oh man!  She LOVED putting stickers on that thing, and couldn't get onto the potty fast enough for those cute little fingers to get the sticker on there.  Hehe!

We had the Ricky and Tisha Marsh family over for a fun Valentines FHE!  We had a yummy dinner, and then we decorated COOKIES!  The kids were in HEAVEN!  We don't get together with these guys NEAR enough, so it was really really fun to be able to play!  Our kids get along so well, and it is always fun for them to play.

Angel.  Face.
Cute Merrick was having a BLAST eating all of the frosting and cookies!  So cute.

Yowsers!  We REALLY look like cousins in this picture- don't we?!

Stockton is really loving eating right now, and especially he loves Spaghetti! I think that it is a non-written rule that all of your kids have to have pictures of themselves with spaghetti all over their faces!  Such a cutie pie!

Lincoln's class pet, Mr. Tweet, doesn't love to be alone, so they have the students take him home each weekend!  We were able to take Mr. Tweet home for Lincolns birthday and he was in HEAVEN!  He seriously had SO much fun with Mr. Tweet!  He is a cute bird too.  Whistles tunes, talks a bit, and just loves to be around people.  One weekend is enough for me though!  That's for sure! :)

Snugglin on the couch!  Paytons in there too- can you see him?!  We're so glad when Daddy comes home!

I LOVE THIS BABY!!!

Park Time!

Monkey boys!

The weather was unseasonably warm in February, and we were able to go on a few really fun bike rides!  Payton really enjoys to ride on the tag-along.  He's not quite up to riding a two-wheeler all by himself, but can ride for quite a while in back of either Cole or I!  One problem though- when we go in the afternoon when it is a bit warmer, Payton has to really pay attention because he starts to fall asleep while he is on the bike!  Yikes- that could be disastrous!

We got Lincoln ANOTHER new bike because his old one- that he got the year before for his birthday!- petered out on him!  Lame!  So, he has really enjoyed having a fun bike.  He is getting quite good at riding!  He's enjoyed going on some fun early morning rides with his Dad.  What a stud.

Lots 'o this goin on all the time!

We needed to go to the DMV to get the plates renewed on my car, and we were heading out of town to Utah that day for Cole's Uncle Wayne's funeral.  So, with trepidation, I headed down there, and the kids were WONDERFUL!  It was really quick, and the kids were awesome the whole time!

This was on our way home from Utah!  We were able to stop at Little America for some Ice Cream on Lincolns birthday!  happy Birthday Lincoln!

I sure do love this big 7 year old!  WHAT?!  Seven?!  when in the WORLD did that happen!

Lincoln's class had a poetry unit, and they all wrote a whole bunch of poems and presented them in a "Coffee House Poetry" night, and it was so cute!  Lincoln wrote poems about the color Pink, and about a Sperm Whale and Giant Squid.  He is so dang cute!

Here are Lincoln's AMAZING teachers- Michelle DuMoulin and Mindy Lucera
