HBD MY LOVE!!!

So- I am a slacker wife, and didn't post this on the DAY, but YESTERDAY, April 27th was Cole's big 28th b-day! OH, he is the oldest dude ever! Just a little bit younger than Dode, so still young, but WAY older than me! :) But this is just a little tribute to the best husband in the entire world. He is the kindest, most loving, thoughtful, generous, awesome person there ever was! He is my better half for SURE! He treats me so well, MOST of the time I don't deserve it, but he sure does it anyways. He is a tremendous father and his boys adore him! He is always willing to help anyone out that needs it. Seriously, anytime anyone needs anything, he will drop whatever he is doing, and go and help them no matter how long it takes. He is very loyal, and will always say nice things about everyone. He is the BEST student right now! It is so much fun for me to watch him in school, because he is like a little sponge, just soaking it all in! I love him so much, and can't believe that we have now been married for almost 4 years! Thanks Cole for being the best friend a gal could ask for! You are the bomb.com.

Lincoln here...

Hi- My name is Lincoln. My mommy and daddy don't know that I am here writing this post. In fact, there are alot of things that I sneak around and do without them knowing these days! Here are a few things that you should know about me. I am TWO! That's right...TWO! Don't you forget it! Those terrible two's everyone is always telling my mom about...YEP, that's me! I am taking full advantage of this fact! I am now in a BIG BOY BED! Yeah! I love my big boy bed. Sometimes, I don't like to take naps. My mom tries to make me, but I am WAY smarter than her! I just don't nap! But sometimes, when I don't take a nap, this is what happens...



Hey, I didn't want to eat the grilled cheese sandwich my mom made me! I wanted to eat the chips dad had! So, mom made a deal with me. She said that if I took TWO bites (I'm two you know!) of my grilled cheese sandwich, that I could have some chips...wouldn't you know it! I really enjoyed my sandwich! AND I got some chips to boot!


A couple minutes after I came in from outside eating my sandwich, I REALLY wanted something to eat, so I climbed up into my chair. But because I didn't take a nap, I was a little bit sleepy! So I just decided to park it right there in my chair and take a little snooze!


Oh, and another thing...I like to do naughty things when my mom's not looking! Like the other morning, my mom thought that I was asleep when she was in feeding my brudder, but I really wasn't! I snuck a bag of markers from the shelf and colored all over EVERYTHING! My new sheets, my face, legs, arms, tummy, pajama's, everything! I decided to be nice to my mom though and not draw on the walls...thank goodness! I don't know what mommy means when she says that the black marker won't come out of anything though! I like the black marker!



But as you can see, I DID draw some nice snakes on my legs! I am so proud of myself. My mommy says that sometimes I am a stinker, but at the end of the day, I am still her favorite two year old around. I would have to say, I am quite handsome too! Don't you think?

Dode

This post is a shout out to the BEST older sister ever! It's Court's B-DAY! She is SO old! Practically ancient in my book! She is the BEST sister that a girl could ever ask for though. Even though we haven't always seen eye to eye (what two teenage high school girls do for heavens sake!) I love her more than anything! Even though she lives a MILLION miles away from me, and I can't ever see her, we are so close. She is a WONDERFUL mother, a great example of a faithful daughter of God, a fabulous person and a dear friend. We have had so many great times together and I love her so much! So HBD Court...I hope you have a great one!
Wow...That's a gross picture!!! I had just been caught in the undertow of the ocean and was quite put out so Court put sand in her hair to try and make me feel better!!! Aren't we cute?!?

Here's to the WINNER!!!

So, the bet is OVER! Cole and I had a bet/contest to see who could lose the most weight over a span of 3 months! It was FABULOUS! Only fabulous, really, because I WON!! I have a problem...I am not motivated when it comes to eating better, losing weight, and exercising! I don't know why. I am weird like that! But when it comes to a healthy competition, I AM IN!! So, in trying to get me to be a healthier person, Cole suggested that we have a competition to see who could 1)Lose the most body weight percentage 2)Have the most workout hours and 3)eat the most vegetables! (Cole really will try anything to get me to eat my vegetables!) Needless to say, I beat him ROYALLY! He didn't do so bad! He is looking as cute and slender, and slim as ever, but I had quite the advantage! I told him before we even started that I had the advantage! I am nursing, and losing lots of calories that way! But he said that he was up for the challenge, so we started! I feel great though. But now that the contest is over, I am not so much motivated anymore! So, we decided to start again! Here's to a 3 course meal cooked by Cole, 30 minute massage, and movie of my choice! (This is what you do when you have limited funds and want to have a good time!) I'd post a picture, but that's just weird!

The NEXT American Idol, and my baby boy!

Here are some updated videos of the boys! Lincoln is REALLY into singing songs right now. It was his Grandma Smith's birthday the other day, and so we called her to sing a song. As soon as we were finished, he INSISTED that we call Grandpa Dick, Grandma B, Rachie, Ty-Ty, and Aunt Court, Drew and Mylie! He sang them all songs, and was VERY proud of himself! We were just about to go outside and play in the April BLIZZARD that we were having, that is why he was all dressed up in his snow outfit! The one of Payton is cute too. Sorry my voice is so loud, I get that from my father! Enjoy!

Long Time Comin!

We didn't get too many pics of Payton, because it was his nap time, but we got some good ones of Lincoln, so enjoy!

Buckets of Fun and General Conference!

What a wonderful weekend we had this past one! It was SO nice to be able to listen to General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! We weren't able to watch it on the T.V. like we would have in Utah, but we were able to watch it on our computer via the internet, and it was FABULOUS! We didn't have any problems! It was nice too, because we were able to stay home and let the kids have their own stuff, and play with their toys, and take naps etc. while we watched conference instead of having to take them to the Stake Center and brave the crowds there with the kids screaming! We thought this was a better choice...one that would lead to MUCH greater spirituality!
Funny Story: We got Lincoln to watch the first 10 minutes or so of the Saturday session where there is singing, and President Monson stood up and stuff so that we could show him our new prophet. He did pretty good, and when the choir started singing, they started panning the women, and Lincoln looks at me SO proudly and states "Look Mom! It's all the Grandmas!" Oh, he is so great! But that is about all that he watched, so here is what he did during the rest of the time! He wouldn't just play downstairs in his room quietly or anything. He had to be up by us, which was just fine, but here is what he decided to do!

I have tons of other pictures, but I can't get them to turn the right way! MAN that is frustrating, but what can you do! This is the cutest one anyway!

I was wondering if anyone out there knew where the best place was to get my blog published! I would LOVE to have it bound in a book of some sort, and I know that you can do that, but just don't know where to go about getting it done! If any of you smartywarty's know, please let me know! Thanks!
