Random Happenings

We've done a whole lot of nothin around here for the past week- and it has been LOVELY!  It was quite stressful trying to get the kids to and from school, and everywhere else that they needed to be what with me not being able to drive and/or walk and stuff.  This week is spring break for the kids, and at first I was DREADING it!  Having the kids home all day!  Sheesh!  But it has been SOOOOO much fun!  I am so glad that we have all had this time to be together and do absolutely nothing!  The kids have loved not having to have a schedule, or any place to be- at all- and I have really loved it too.  I love my kids- and it is nice to not have to be on their case all the time about getting ready to go somewhere or something!  We have had a great time!  Here's some of the stuff we've been doing- plus a WHOLE LOT of pics of the baby- because he is cute. :)

I took this picture of Stockton at like 11:30 at night!  Hmmm...tired?

Stockton swiped this green lantern dude from Payton, and the kids thought it was HILARIOUS!  They made me take a whole bunch of pictures- and still ask to look at them!  Silly guys.
A frequent occurrence at our house!  Usually, they are both sleeping though!

Payton is SO sweet, and always wants to hold "Tiny Baby Buggy Boo- Stockton!"
This is how we do diaper changes/clothes changes now.  Morgs does NOT think it's alright for Stockton to be on her changing table!  Oh boy.

Coming Home!

Whew!  It sure is hard to find time in the day to do everything that I want to- what with me takin' as many naps as I do!  Sheesh!  So- I'll try to get back to the blogging.  :)  Stockton was able to come home from the hospital on Tuesday after he was born, and it was nice to be able to bring him home!  I sure did love the hospital though!  No other kids jumping on me (I love all of my children- it was SO nice to just snuggle with my baby though!), someone brings me food when I call them on the phone, and then comes and takes the tray away again when I am finished!, I laid in bed all the live long day, I watched T.V. when I wanted, slept for 2/3 of the day, and someone brought my baby into my room when he was hungry during the night, then wheeled him right back to the nursery until the next feeding!  How can you NOT love the hospital!  But- the honeymoon period must end sometime.  So we brought the cute little squirt home with us!  It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice to have Cleve and Maxine here with us for the few days that they were here.  They saved our lives!  It was terribly sad to see them go when they had to leave just a few minutes after we got home.  We miss them so bad!  So thanks for coming Grandma and Grandpa Smith!  We wish that you lived 10 minutes away instead of 8 hours!  But....someday.  Someday.

Like I said...lots of chillin in bed!

The proud papa!

And of course...mama

I think that teeny tiny yawns are about the cutest thing EVER!

All ready!  How flippin cute is he?!!

Teeny tiny feet

It's always so weird to me how LITTLE they look in the car seat coming home from the hospital!  So cute!

Here's Stockton's name sake!  Cleve didn't really want us to name him Cleve, because he doesn't like it so much- but we love Cleve even more- so we won out!  Cleve Dean, Cole Dean, and Stockton Cleve.

Morgs kind of has to be in the middle of everything....kind of like someone else I know!  (I always say that my kids got all of my worst qualities- but they are so much more endearing on them!  Why is that?!)

Maxine made Stockton this CUTEST EVER blanket!  I LOVE it!  He is always wrapped up in it.  Thanks Grandma!

Introducing.......

Stockton Cleve Smith
7 lbs. 14 oz. ~ 21 inches long
Born at 7:52 a.m. ~ March 17, 2012

Yeah!!!! We finally decided on a name, and MAN was it hard!  This seems to fit the cute little guy though, so we couldn't be more thrilled!! Oh MAN he is so stinkin cute-I can't get over it!  He met his brothers and sister last night, and it was a success!  He gave them each a new toy, and that seemed to go over quite well!  Payton even thanked him in the prayer. :)  Such a thoughtful boy!
I gotta say...this is the sweetest boy EVER!  He doesn't make much noise, and is content most of the time!  Right now, he is extremely frustrated with me because my milk hasn't come in yet and he's STARVING- but hopefully that will be remedied soon!  He is a champion nurser/burper/pooper/pee-er, and sleeps great too!  What a good boy to his mama!  He looks JUST like the rest of the Smith clan with a nice round head and cute little button nose.  We are SOOO thrilled that he is here in our lives!  We love you Stockton!

My boys!  YEAH!  So cute!
First Family Shot...not a bad one either!
Stockton gave Morgs this little cabbage patch doll and all she wanted to do was share it with him.  She is SO dang cute!
Cross-eyed a little bit?  It's alright...still cute! :)
The planes Stockton picked out were a HIT!  Nice one!
Morgs was just having fun wrastlin with Grandpa!
The Proud Papa!

Morgan is blurry, because she NEVER sits still!

Payton was SO extremely sweet!  He climbed right up onto my bed and wanted to hold his new baby brother.  He was so soft, and sweet and actually held him for quite some time!  He loves the babies!
It took a little bit more coaxing with this one, but he did a great job holding his brother too!  Does he look like he's ready to go to Jr. High in this picture or what?!  Sheesh!
Morgs wanted in on some of the holding action too...she thinks her brother's really cute.  She also keeps asking me to lift up my shirt because she wants to see the baby.  We'll have to work on a few things won't we!  Morgs and I are certainly outnumbered now- aren't we?!
Welcome to the world Sweet little Stockton!  We couldn't be more thrilled that you are here safe and sound!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!

Wow- are we in total shock!  Seriously!  I was 95% sure that he was going to be a girl...but now that he's here, I wouldn't want him any other way!  He is BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT!  I sure do love him. :)  Everything went swimmingly with the birth and all- routine c-section they called it! I am healing up a lot better than I did with the other kids, which is a HUGE bonus, so life around here is pretty great.  Cole and I are trying REALLY hard to find a name for the poor little dude, but we are having QUITE the rough time!  The funny thing is- he as to conduct sacrament meeting this month, and will be announcing the birth of baby boy...but can't say what his name is!  So...I'm sure that will come soon.  3 boys names are hard to come up with!  Then to have to match them altogether with Morgan as well....hard.  He won't go much longer without one especially if the boys keep up with the names they have got so far!  I can't remember all of them, but a few from the boys are: Jack, Jackson, Butt-head (my personal favorite-thanks Payton!) GoogooGaagaa (also a great one!) and some other ones that they have told me over the past few months that I can't seem to remember right now!  Silly boys!
He was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 21 inches long with a 14.5 cm head.  I am positive on all but the head- it was somewhere around there though!  :)  He has been the most content baby ever!  He doesn't make much noise at all- except for right when he was born!  Wow- he screamed his head off!  Now if THAT isn't the most beautiful sound in the world...I don't know what is!  We are SOOOOOO glad that he is finally here!  Poor little guy has gone through the ringer in the past few days though.  Newborn screens, circumcision, hearing tests, the whole works!  But everything has passed with flying colors and he is such a sweetheart.  He is REALLY good at nursing- thank heavens!  It didn't take him long to catch on at all!  What a stud!  So- we have hit the ground running with this one.  Even I feel great this time around too!  I know it will probably hit me sometime today, but it's been great so far!  I was TOTALLY wiped out yesterday, so I apologize to everyone for not returning texts/phone calls/etc!  I'll be better in the next few days. :)
So without further adeu- here is Baby Boy Smith (name and patent pending!:)  )

and a smile for you!....

his first visitors! G & G Smith-they are graciously taking care of the other three!

Where did my babies go????!!!!

They were just born. :(  What in the world is happening?!  We have rearranged our entire house whilst waiting for this new little babe to be born, and so everything is kind of in disarray around here. So Sunday morning, of COURSE we couldn't find the boys ties!  So...we raided Cole's closet!  These ties are actually my DAD's old ties!  He bequeathed them to Cole, and they are a little too small for Cole, so they are PERFECT for the boys!  They thought they looked pretty snazzy wearing their Grandpas ties.  We even had to send them a picture.  But don't these boys look so old?!  Yikes!  And SOOO handsome!
Don't mind the end of the tie hanging out of his shirt....I said it was too small for Cole- not for Payton! :)
I have about 100 of these photos....after every picture I take he insists I take one of him like this!  Whatever dude!
Forced smile much?!
THERE'S the cute one!!  Love that smile!

Wow-  This is ONE Cute little baby girl!  That is all there is to say. Cutest skinny little legs, cutest little knock knees, cutest little mop top hair shop...but QUITE the sassy attitude as of late!  She must know something's coming!
