Random Picture extravaganza!

We did LOTS and lots of fun things at the end of July and August, and there are just too many different things for just one post!  So- here is a hodgepodge of everything that we did!  Enjoy...it's a LONG one!

Happy to be in the stroller on a hot day at the zoo!

Stockton can sit in the Bumbo now!  Yahoo!  He and Link were watchin a little show. :)

Oh!  Could you just not SQUEEZE that face!  Yowsas!

Deer in the headlights?  Usually!. :)

His head is PERFECTLY round. :)

We took the training wheels off of Paytons bike, and he's getting it- a little bit. :)
Neither Cole or I are very patient when it comes to teaching how to ride a two-wheeler.  We're working on it. :)
Starting to get the hang of it...

This one though, is a BIKIN MACHINE!  he loves it!

We went to Monkey Business with some of our favorite friends- the Haynes!

Cute Callie is having her first baby girl here in just a few short months!  YEAH for baby girls ! We are so excited for her. Isn't this just the best self portrait ever?!  Hey, my camera is heavy!

We've played lots of games!  Lincoln was playing another game, and Morgan got out Pretty Pretty Princess.  Link was looking out the corner of his eye- pretending he didn't want to play.  By the time we went around the group for one turn, he was in on the game claiming he needed to teach us all how to play.  Hey- real men play Pretty Pretty Princesses with their sister/moms!

And here's the winner-winner-chicken-dinner!

All 4 of my extremely handsome boys!  Wow- do they all look alike or what?!

Catchin some z's wherever we can!  Hey, when ya gotta nap, ya gotta nap!  Its especially fun in your little brothers toys!

Cole was gone hiking some crazy thing with the scouts one saturday, so we hit up McDonalds and had a picnic at the park!

They really are happy meals!

We do a lot of snugglin at our house.

Payton has been acting up a little bit lately- he's 4!- and so we spend a whole day together for just some Mommy/Payton time.  We spent the morning at the allergist (poor little rashy boy!) and to eat, he chose DerWeinerschnitzel!  What 4 year old chooses that.  He wanted a hot dog, but when we got there, their special was a shrimp plate, and this dude LOVES shrimp!  So, he chose the shrimp meal.  It came out with like 12 shrimp and a huge mound of fries, and he ate all of them!  Crazy kook.

After the Weinerschnitzel, we went to Target so that he could pick out a toy to buy with his money that he's saved up!  He was OVER THE MOON about the toys that he picked out!  All in all- the mommy/payton date was a hit and a success!  He can't wait to do it again and get another toy. :)

Buddies!  Twins!

Payton found my phone camera, and figured out that you can turn the camera around!  He was laughing SO hard!  There are about 50 pictures on my phone exactly like this.

And Morgs needed in on the action!

We have a chin-up bar in our house, and I'd say that Payton spends about 75% of his day hanging from the bar!  He is such a monkey!  He climbs EVERYTHING!  EVERYWHERE!

Decided very enthusiastically that we LOVE the swing!  He full on giggles the whole time he is in one!  So cute.

Yes, he is always smiling. Unless Payton is up in his grill...he doesn't love that.

We took a sunday field trip to the temple- it is SO gorgeous there right now with all of the end of summer flowers!

This was where Morgan chose to pose for Cole. :)
We took one last trip to the Museum of Nature and Science before school started.  WE LOVE THIS PLACE!  We actually go a whole lot- and the kids never get tired of it!  I love it too.  Here is the space place- my own little Moon Rock.

Payton was especially excited about the Space Suit.

Proof that we were there too!  Cole even was able to meet us for lunch!  SO LUCKY and fun!

They built the arch and Lincoln was so excited about it.  He's quite the builder!

We even got to do a science experiment together!  The lady cringed when she saw us coming, but we did it anyways, and had a fun time!  The kids didn't really understand- Link did, so we will have to take him back there when we can really focus with just him.  He's growing up so fast!  They all are!
We checked out a movie from the library- Peep and the Big Wide World (one of the kids favorites!) and they froze some water and played with it outside on a hot day, so the kids wanted to do the same thing!  We went a step further and made some colored, and put some toys in others.  They thought it was so fun- for about 10 minutes.  Luckily it didn't take too long for the ice to melt so that they could reclaim their toys!

Our dear friend Debbie took us to the beach one day too!  We got caught in a major wind storm!  But after a little while, it calmed down and we were able to take some fun rides on her jet ski.  The kids love the jet ski!

Stockton didn't really dig the beach. Sorry buddy!

Ahhh! That's better!  A nice warm tubbers!
We rearranged all of the toys upstairs, and disassembled a shelf.  The boys put it back together in a box, and Payton thought it only appropriate to jump in the box!  I had a few people suggest I put a lock on it. Hehehehe. :)

We also took one last trip to the zoo!  Dad was even able to come with us this time!  We love the new Toyota Elephant Passage with all the new stuff to play on.  Here's the boys being Gibbons.  They love to hang!

And Morgan loves to throw stuff on herself.
We had a fantastic summer!  It was a long one, but we did lots of fun stuff, and are glad to be back in school now.  Hooray!

Diva Dashin' it!

Woah- the blog has been severely neglected in the last little while!  SO SORRY!  :)  We've had a busy summer- but now that school has started, hopefully things will slow down a bit for me.  Famous last words eh?!  Anyways- back at the end of July, I had the opportunity to run a fun small 5K race with one of my best buddies- Steph Wessler, and we had a GREAT time!  Wow- I am out of shape though!  Poor Steph tried to stay with me, but my big bootie can NOT run as fast as her little tiny one, so by the end, we finally parted ways- well she parted forward, and I stayed at a steady jaunt. :)  It was so much fun.  The reason I signed up for it was because it was supposed to be an OBSTACLE run- and I might have been thinking more along the lines of something a little more intense- like a mud run or something like that, so both Steph and I were a bit disappointed with the caliber of the obstacles, but it was fun nonetheless.  The only other race I have ever run was my triathlon, so it paled in comparison to that, but it was still really fun!  It was mostly fun to see all the girls dressed up in funky outfits!  We didn't know that we had the option! Maybe next year. :)  It was fun- and we had a great time!

Bustin through the big balls at the end- this was one of the best obstacles.  Other obstacles included a balance beam that was like 4 feet long, jumping over hay bales, a maze/string type thing that you had to find your way through, another maze that was ridiculously easy and maybe not even worth it!, a log carry around a square thing, a fun rope ladder (one of my favs!), a real life boulder canyon- (we were at boulder reservoir, it only seemed appropriate!), a BUBBLE cave- that one was neat!, jumping over rope things in the water- that was nice- and a few others that I can't remember right now.  They were pretty good.
Steph ownin up on the balls

My little cheerleader!

My own cheering section!  Aren't they cute?!

The Divas'- in the flesh!

My man- the main supporter!

Stockton was SO hungry, but was too cute not to snap a picture of before I fed the poor boy!

Finished it!  Hooray!  Can you see tired little Morgie in the background?!  Until next year Diva Dash!
