It's a BOY!!!

Hello everyone! After much anticipation, and much slacking on my part, we finally found out, oh, about MONTH ago, yes I am a slacker, that I am having a BOY! The baby is very healthy, and big, according to the doctor, and scheduled to arrive on the 2nd of December! Now all I need to do is find a doctor in Denver! Ahhh!!! Another little baby boy...I am just going to be starting a little basketball team here! That is fine with me. We love our little Lincoln, who is seriously getting crazier and crazier every day, and can't wait for him to have a little buddy! His new thing, that his cousin Carson taught him, is to say "Hey buddy!" Oh my gosh, it is the cutest thing ever! Here are a few pics of the lot of us doing some fun stuff!

Petting Grandpa Smith's new philly..the grandkids call her "Flicka" We aren't so sure about that one! Lincoln calls her "horshhheeeeeee"

With Dad on the 4-wheeler checkin' out the cows on the farm...one of his funner activities to do in life...Cows are- after all- his favorite animal!

Here we are playing in Bear Lake...Lincoln is a FISH!!! Or as he would say...Sishy!!!

Here are all of Lincolns Cousins on the Smith Side....he isn't to keen on taking pictures...what can you do!

Lots of pics

So I keep getting the wrath from everyone that I don't keep my blog updated....I know, I am just a bad person. But here is one now, and I hope you enjoy it! Here are just a few sweet pictures.

Court and I, when she was in town, took the rug rats over to Grandma and Grandpa Miles' house to visit them. Just a little sentimental story, when we were little, every time that we went over to visit my Grandma and Grandpa, just before we were about to leave, Grandpa would take out his trimmers, and cut us all a rose that we picked out from their front yard. Those are some of the best memories that I have as a child at their house, and while we were there, Grandpa asked Mylie if she wanted a rose, and of course, we urged her on, so here are a few pictures of Grandpa cutting Mylie a rose. Keep in mind, while we are taking these pictures, Court and I are trying to suppress the tears that start to fall from our eyes!

Here are some of the kids all on Grandma and Grandpas fireplace. SO CUTE!!!

Here's just a cute picture of my boys! Lincoln LOVES his glasses, tries to put them on himself all of the time, but won't keep them on for longer than a second when we put them on! Maybe he gets confused when he can't see or something? Who knows! But the picture is cute nonetheless. We have to hold his little hands down for the picture so that he will keep them on!

Hair Cut Time!

So we finally gave Lincoln another haircut...keep in mind this was about a month ago. So if you have seen Lincoln recently and are thinking...no wait a minute, Lincolns hair is always standing straight up! Yes, he got that from his Father...Anyways, here are some pics of the not so recent haircut. I think they are funny! We got a new hair cutting kit, and it came with a robe and everything! So Lincoln donned if for the first time, and he was such a stud. Cole didn't cut Lincolns hair as short as I would have liked, so we have to do it again soon...oh well. He worked on his teeth brushing skills while we cut his hair...thanks to his cousin Drews toothbrush! It doesn't hurt to share every now and then right? Thanks Drew!

Happy Hunting!!!

Hello everyone! So this is kind of a fun post! A couple of weeks ago, Cole went up to his Mom and Dad's house in Richmond, Utah, to the most BEAUTIFUL home and property ever, and had the chance to go Turkey Hunting! He loves to do it, and so does my dad, and his dad came along too, I am sure just to humor my dad! but they had a great time! They woke up at 4:30, were on the mountain by 5:30 or so, shot their turkey and were back in by 7:00! Talk about a productive morning! So here are some shots of the hunt. Lincoln thought it was pretty cool! It was May the 5th or something like that, and just as the boys came in from hunting, the snow started to come DOWN! It was crazy! Anyways, thought you might like this one!

Big News!! Linoln's gonna be a big brother!

So the big news for the Smith family this week is that we are HAVING ANOTHER BABY! That's right, on the 3rd of December, the second of the Smith children is set to make it's debut into the world. We are extremely exited! The babies will be about 22 months apart, so we are very excited! Things went well at the doctors office this morning, and we are very excited, and actually not feeling quite as sick as with Lincoln, but we must knock on wood! So maybe it's a girl. Who knows. So there is our big news! I am freakin out though, because I have to find a new OB, a new Pediatrician, all sorts of new scary stuff! So if any of you know anyone out in the Denver area that has a good OB or Ped, let me know! Kind of scary new thing to have to find. Anyways, so here is a pic of the new little one, and a few of Lincoln just for good measure!

Wow, it's been a long time!

Yeah so I am not very good at this blog stuff, but Court constantly tries to get me to update my page, so here goes! Sorry it's been so long! We have done LOTS of fun stuff since I last posted! But I will save most of that for future posts, since it is usually because I can't think of anything to write that I don't.
anyways, the big news around our house is that COLE GOT ACCEPTED TO A MASTERS PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER!! So we're very excited about that, and will probably be moving in August sometime to start the program down there in September! YEAH! Yes, I know what most of you are thinking at this time...What about your new house? Oh, we are pretty bummed about that, but it is all good. We are going to try and rent it and if we can't do that, then we will just have to sell it, but it's alright! Cole will FINALLY be done with school, and we can move on in life! Hopefully move into a house where we will be for a long time, and what not! Cole has even convinced me that when we move back somewhere, we can get a dog. So there you go. I'm going to be a dog person! I love dogs, and Lincoln really needs one, not to mention Cole! So that is our big news. We are really wanting to rent the house to someone that we know, so if any of you know anyone, or YOU want to rent it for like a year, LET ME KNOW! Keep the word out!
Just a few pics...Lincoln and I went to the zoo with a couple of my friends and their kids, and had a BLAST! Lincoln was so cute. He has been to the zoo a couple of times before, but this time he really loved it! he just stared at all of the animals the whole time, and clapped and jumped up and down in his stroller. It was a blast! So here are a few pics of the zoo. I promise to be better about posting, and can't wait to see those of my family that are moving here for the summer! Mazeltof! (I dont' know how to spell that!)

Lincoln and his buddy Mitchell (My friend Jennie Burt's son...SO CUTE!!!)

On the Train at the zoo. That's alot shorter ride than you pay for! :) This is Christy and Lincoln's girlfriend Daisy...they love each other!

Of course, Lincoln and Mommy! He was very happy in his stroller, so you know how it goes, and we just went right ahead and left him in there!

I can WALK!!

Lincoln has learned how to walk...I think I said that he took his first steps while we were out of town already, but he now just RUNS everywhere. Sometimes, this is how he gets up...when he is folded in half with his head on the ground and then he stands up. It is so funny! But he is a pretty smiley guy all day! We sure love him!

I walked out of the room for a split second to get something out of the other room, and all of the sudden it was a little too quiet for my liking, and I walked back in and all of our CD's were on the ground, papers were scattered everywhere, and our tithing was everywhere as well! I couldn't get mad, so I just took a picture!

Birthday Party

Every Monday and Friday morning, Lincoln and I make the trek out to Riverton to work with 2 cute twins that have autism. It is REALLY fun, and I LOVE their mom. It is nice to have some adult conversation sometimes right? Anyways, these pictures are of their 5th birthday party. they had a little petting zoo! Lincoln LOVED it! He had a blast. The lambs, the alpaca, goats, bunnies, chickens, etc. were all mauling Lincoln and he was laughing his head off! It was so great. On this little cart that we rode on, Lincoln was laughing the whole time! I guess we need to get out more! The one of Drew (Lincoln's cousin just 5 days younger than him!) and Lincoln is in Grandma "B"'s new playroom in her house on the staircase to the loft! Grandma B is my mother, if any of you were wondering. It is kind of turning into Gramby though, because Mylie (Court's oldest) slurs it all together so it is easier to say!
